Nordea Provides Online Banking Worldwide
The Nordic online banking company Nordea is quickly gaining a greater and greater share of the Nordic banking arena. The wide range of services offered by Nordea is one of the big items that recommend Nordea to consumers and merchants alike. Nordea's wide range of services has enabled the online banking company to grow impressively. Nordea today has over 10 million private customers and nearly a million corporate customers. Nordea has a global presence with over 1000 branches in 19 different countries (mostly Europe and the United States). It is thus no surprise that Global Finance Magazine ranked Nordea as the 'Best Treasury and Cash Management Banks and Providers 2007' in the Nordic region.

Their online banking system allows people to accept payments online as well as make them and their identity recognition program allows people to sign contracts and make agreements based on this system. Thus, Nordea is striving to keep up with the times and offer the finest services and the widest range of services.
Nordea is Expansion
Nordea's great affluence is attributed to its great expansion process. In general, the Nordean approach has been to identify strong companies that offer a relevant quality service and to but them up and combine them into the Nordean company with the goal of becoming the Nordic banking giant. Thus, Nordea has recently (2007) acquired a 75% share of Orgresbank in Russia as part of their expansion plan. As well as purchasing the Norwegian real estate chain PRIVATmegleren (2007).
